Session Fees & Treatment Structure
To ensure you receive the highest level of personalized care and support, KAP includes medical consultation, ketamine dosing, and integrative therapy sessions designed to help you get the most from your experience. All potential clients MUST be medically approved for ketamine treatment through Journey Clinical.
Medical Consultation & Medication Costs
Initial medical consultation with Journey Clinical (including medication): $347
Follow-ups for ongoing treatment (including medication cost for up to eight sessions): $313
May be covered by insurance

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy with Red Maple Wellness
The initial KAP round includes a comprehensive intake, two ketamine dosing sessions, and at least two integration sessions. At a minimum, each round consists of:
One preparation session
Two dosing sessions
Two integration sessions
Preparation and integration sessions are billed at $175 per 50-minute session. Dosing sessions are billed at a flat rate of $300 per session.
Additional preparation and integration sessions may be included based on the client’s preferences and the therapist’s clinical judgment. In some cases, extra support may be recommended to ensure safety, deepen the therapeutic process, or support specific goals.
A full course of KAP treatment often includes three to four rounds (typically six to eight dosing sessions), but the number and pacing of sessions are highly individualized. Follow-up rounds are adjusted based on your goals, response to treatment, and clinical recommendations.

KAP is a Smart Investment
While Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) may seem more expensive up front, it’s often far more cost-effective in the long run. Traditional weekly therapy—at an average of $150 per session—can take 20 sessions or more (that’s at least $3,000) before many people begin to see meaningful progress.
In contrast, intensives and KAP are designed to create faster, more profound breakthroughs by working with the brain and nervous system in a more focused and immersive way. These approaches often help clients experience significant shifts in just a fraction of the time, reducing the overall number of sessions needed and helping them move forward sooner.

Insurance & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
We not in-network with insurance, but some aspects of your treatment—such as intake assessments and integration therapy—may be eligible for out-of-network mental health reimbursement. Many insurance plans cover these sessions under psychotherapy benefits, though coverage varies.
